Red Handbags Anyone?
Permalink Closed

I bought this bag below to wear into spring and summer and I really like it

Leather Flap Shoulder Bag

But for some reason I really want to buy a new red bag to throw into the mix, but I haven't seen any in stores that I like. Do you guys have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate them.

Not sure what exactly you want or how much you want to spend but if you can check out TJ Maxx they have a ton of bags in every color.

It's a shame there aren't more red handbags out there, probably because of the time of year. Here are a few bags I found that come in red, not sure of the exact style you were looking for:

I like this one so much I might get it for the fall.

$368

Magnolia, I was on the fence about that urban outfitters bag. I think it's really cute and I absolutely love the color, but I kind of wanted less casual-style purse. How do you like the leather? can you talk me into getting it?

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies, keep them coming. I really like them all. I will go off my bag purchasing ban May 1st (yes, I go on handbag shopping bans, my addiction is that bad and then some...)

Bean - I really like the UO bag. The color is great like you mentioned (and it's great for spring/summer as a more classic color option.) When I first received I was up in the air about the leather. The best way to describe it is as a cross between suede and leather. It looks like worn suede in some areas and new leather in some areas. You need to pretty much fill it up so it can hold it's shape, but it's great because you could probably fit one of those little pint size water bottles in it (great for hot weather.) It's really constructed in the boho spirit of the season (and for me it's a good way to infuse the trend into my wardrobe because I'm not very good at pulling off current trends.) It seems sturdy enough to hold up for a couple of (spring/summer) seasons (but I haven't put it to a lot of use just yet.) I'm pretty happy with it and the $38 price tag sold me on it. So all in all, I'm a big fan. I haven't seen it on anyone and the style is classic but unique enough.
