What Do You Think?

Honest Opinions.  I have three of these camis from the Limited and I thought they looked good on.  A "friend" of mine told me they made me look pregnant.  Now this "friend" is very much over weight and doesn't ever give postive feedback about anything I wear.  Should I believe her this time or do you think they look okay??

I think it looks fine but then I never understood what the big deal was with "pregnant" tops.  Anything with an empire waist is somewhat of a "pregnant" top but I dont consider it a bad thing at all.

I am not fond of shirts that lay like that because I think that I look pregnant. I think that its the cut of the shirt, because pregnant women wear shirts that are cut like that. That's where the negative connotation comes from.

I love the shirt, and it looks cute. If you like it, wear it. Don't worry about her.

You definitely do NOT look pregnant. Your "friend" probably told you that because she's jealous. Cute top BTW.

I just don't see what's wrong with maybe looking like you are pregnant because the shirt flares out a bit.  That's just me though.  I def. think that your shirt is fine though- not really a pregnant shirt at all.

lol... whenever I get unsolicited criticism from people, I look at them and think *do I respect their fashion opinion?* the answer is always no.  I agree that it's jealousy and they are just trying to be negative to bring you down to their sad level.

whenever people offer a passive agressive comment like that, I just stare at them for a minute with no response like they're not finished then will say "ok" and start talking about something completely unrelated or say "oh shoot, I forgot to do X" and walk away.

I can't stand that! The top is soooo cute! You obviouslly have a very nice figure, why would you have to wear something form fitting just to look good? Not all shirts are made to be tight and sexy, this is sexy in a very pretty way! Some girls look really good in big oversized sweaters and stuff, just because you cannot see the shape and form of her waist does that mean she can't wear it? Tell your friend she is very wrong! It looks soooo cute!

you should actually wear it AGAIN when you know you'll see her just to show her that her comment didn't get to you! Please wear when you see her again, for me!

I really like that top and you look absolutely lovely in it! I have a "friend" like that, too, and I know she's just trying to make me feel insecure.

Tati I am with you! I would wear it the next time you make plans with her. Tell her you have gotten so many compliments on that top that you couldn't bare to see it just sitting in your closet. I have had those kind of friends too and it is usually one thing-Jealousy! Wear it you look very cute.

You look beautiful in that cami!!!  Don't let your "friend's" comments keep you from wearing it.

Oh lord. There is always somebody who makes the pregnant comment about those kind of shirts. When I was in fifth grade, I was wearing an empire-waist peasant blouse (it was one of my favorite shirts) and a boy I had a crush on said I looked pregnant. Don't worry about it! You look totally cute
