STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I don't know linnie.  I have a whole discussion on these shoes somewhere.  (not these in particular, but Cydney Mandel in general).  My cobbler had nothing good to say about the shoes; the design as a whole is flawed and makes the shoes unwearable except for sitting.  I am pretty pissed with my cobbler though and don't plan on going back to him.  He told me he doesn't guarantee the shoes, because he had to put a nail in them, but didn't ask me prior or give me a warning before doing anything to the shoes, especially since there would be potential problems.  That just makes me not trust him at all.  I would still buy the shoes in the future and just cross my fingers. Sorry, I am not much help. I really need to bring the shoes to a different cobbler for  a new perspective. 

The shoes do run true to size and are comfy, but my dalmation sling backs don't stay up even after I had the strap shortened so I think  that is a flaw in the design of the strap on the shoe, but I have another pair of sling backs from C.M. that stay up fine. 

I guess I would recommend waiting for a sale considering the problems I have had so far.  (I also had to have the heel fixed after only wearing my dalmation shoes like three times)
