I'm mostly a lurker here, but I just found out about this:

it's fairly new, the selection is ok. It seems that books are added fairly often- I joined Friday and since then over 200 books have been added. it's a good way to cut back on book-buying (which I definitely need to do )

Welcome- glad you decided to post.

Thanks for posting the site. That seems like a cool idea and I am excited to try it. I buy books like crazy and then just have them sitting around my house after I am done reading.

I requested a couple of books today (and have had a couple requested from me) so I'll let ya know how my experience goes.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! For years I have been going to a great fund raiser for the YWCA in Baton Rouge where you bring your old books, take other people's books, and leave whatever donation you can afford. I have gotten lots of my books this way & since I moved to Dallas I have been collecting my "read" books wondering what in the world to do with them other than donate to the library which generally has all the books I would donate anyway!!!! Glad you finally posted!

Just an update - i signed up for this, listed about 15 books, & requested 2. In the past few days I have gotten confirmations that both of the books i requested had been shipped & received a request for one of mine, so i think it's great so far. I just couldn't believe how organized it was & how quickly the process started working.

i haven't had any problems - i have gotten 3 or 4 books & have sent out 3 in return - i'm very pleased. as a matter of fact, i packed one this morning!
