I know its been brought up before but I can't find it! Anywhoo, I just discovered that a Lush store opened in New Orleans & I wanted some info on the products.  Are they worth the price? Is anything really good or worth trying?

I love Lush bath products!! The closest one to me is in S.F. and I refuse to cross the Bay Bridge so last time I just ordered online.  I spent $75 so that I could get the free shipping.  I really like the Floating Island bath melt (I think that's what it's called) actually I love all of their bath melts and the sex bomb ballistic. They can get rather pricey but I usually cut them in half so I can get 2 -3 uses out of one.  The only complaint that I have is that they leave a terrible ring around the tub but your skin is super soft when you get out of the tub. I'll have to go to the new one in Carmel (no bridges on the way there).  If you go to Lush.com they have a list of U.S. locations.

A friend of mine is a former beauty mag editor and still gets all kinds of freebies from Lush because she's hooked. But to be perfectly honest, her skin looks terrible, she has a reaction to every other product and the soaps do NOT get you clean enough (she has to wash first with a cheap body wash - seems like a waste of time to me but whatever). She handed out a bunch of samples to all our friends, and three other people had rashes from the skin cream too. I think their products are nice for treats, like a bath, as long as you don't have sensitive skin. But I wouldn't use them for skin care. So, my vote is no, not worth the money. But nice for little gifts because most people go crazy for them (because the brand is known as being expensive and is really cute and nice smelling).

Thanks yall.  I'm really just interested in the bath bombs and/or bubble bath things.  I finally got my face under control so I don't think i'm going to mess with face products.
