FABULOUS new magazine

Yesterday at the airport I picked up a new women's magazine called VITALS Woman (they also have a men's version) and it's great. The editor is the former fashion director of W and there's lots of great fashion and lifestyle features such as a guide to Hermes bags, a cool editorial on sparkly shoes and bags, a really pretty layout of Christina Ricci in all vintage and a full page shot of her vintage Chanel bags, tons of great features on food and culture... I could go on and on.


Imagine the best of Bazaar, Elle, Vogue, and Town and Country and that's this magazine. The layout and design are great... it's everything Shop Etc. wants to be but isn't. It comes out quarterly which is sad but maybe enough people will like it for it to be monthly.


Okay, I'll shut up now. Go get it... Hilary Swank is on the cover.

I just went to the website and signed up for a free subscription.

awesome!  I just signed up for my "free" subcription as well...  I also wonder what the catch is!  Maybe it's a new mag and they are trying to get the word out.

I signed up too - I had read some of the men's version while in a waiting room...thought it would be great for my DH.  Didn't know there was a women's version until just now. Thanks for sharing!

I am a magazine junkie too.  I just registered for a  Free subscription.  I hope it IS free.  I just always think there is some catch.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubbles.... but Vitals Men and Women have folded, which is why you haven't gotten it. That's the magazine business for you! :( (I work at a mag so any time one folds, it's a big deal!) Kinda scary, actually, to be at a job where one day life is grand and the next day your company doesn't exist!! (OK the company still exists because like 5 companies own all the mags). Sigh.

Cargo (the men's version of Lucky) just folded too.
