Bliss or RyanJ...random SIMS question

I didn't want to hi-jack LMonet's post, but you mentioned that she should make sure that the SIMS character makes it to the bathroom in time.  So...I was wondering...what happens if he DOESNT make it in time?  I've never had that happen and I'm too emotionally involved to experiment with that.

I had a month long affair with Sims.  If I remember correctly the Sim will do a little dance and pull at their hair.   It's really fuzzy since it's been so long, but I think that is what happens.  I think they then stop whatever they are doing and run to the bathroom on their own.   Is this right?

Damn, now I need to know too.

"Oh, RyanJ.!!! Where are you?"

Drew, you are almost right, but then they will also pee on themselves- I know I am 23 and I should have grown out of the potty humour, but there is something about a grown man w/ an afro and a lesiure suit peeing himself that I find amusing. If they are stainding on the carpeting when they pee then there would be wet spot and they will get really deprressed.

Hee hee, yes they do wet themselves where ever they are and no matter what they are doing.  Same goes for when they're too tired - they'll fall asleep on the floor of the kitchen, the bathroom or by the pool.

That's just awful!  Is there an option to clean it up afterward?  Do they clean it themselves or can you have another character clean it?

So sorry I came in on this one late. In the Sims 2 they have the best "accidents". When they go they begin to smell. Like seriously fumes follow them around, greenish brown ones and they are generally dirty. You can clean them by throwing them in the bath or shower.

When they need to go they do the hair pulling bit as well as a toilet will pop up in their thought bubbles. After they go they will fan at their armpits and go "pee eww" and then their thought bubble will turn into a shower head.

In the words of RyanJ it is "good times". Let me know if you want to know anything else. It's so funny that you're too emotionally attached to let that happen. Heck I've created one that looks like my boss and she's had a horrible life, lol.

LOL. I know exactly what you mean. They have you thinking, "Look at this strapping young chap with the "fresh fro", he must have a charmed life," and then the next thing you know his leisure suit is soiled and his social life is left in shambles. Really gives you a greater appreciation of life...

TOO funny!  I think I will start a character of someone I don't like so I can do all the horrible things to it that I don't want to do now.  I started up a new SIMS family last night and can't wait to really get started.  I always make my character not have a job and invite people over all day and I only have the others have jobs.  All my relationships are always near a 100.  Too bad it's not my real life.

I think I remember one of my SIMS dying once and being traumatized by it.  I think it was in a fire.  I just reset without saving.

Setting them on fire is the best because they can come back as a ghost and haunt your other characters and your house. My bf had a roommate that would do this to his characters all the time. Man I have the urge to play the sims now.

Really???  Is that just in the regular SIMS game?  I swear-I am TOO nice to my SIMS.  I hope they appreciate it.

What do they do when they are haunting?

Really AJ you are way too good to your Sims. You're missing all the good times. I have had them come back from different deaths as ghosts. This really creepy music plays and you see them wandering around the property. In Sims 2 some of the live ones get scared of the ghosts and their aspiration meters go down because it is so traumatic. It's really the best part. For a quick death you can drown them by putting them in a pool and then removing the ladder and going back to live mode. They will fall asleep and drown. Or you can do the fire, which if you don't have a smoke detector will inevitably happen. Try it out on a random one and see where the fun's really at.

AJ- It works on the regular sims.  My bf's friend use to set off fireworks in the house and catch it on fire. It was so cool to see the ghosts.

I use to play all the time.  It is so addictive.  It did take me years though to realize how to get them to marry one another.  I wish they would be clearer about it.

How do they marry each other?  It seems to me that you just keep picking "flirt", "hug", "compliment" and "kiss" until they fall in love and then they will sleep in the same bed.  Can they actually have a wedding?

I just had one of my families have a baby.  Whoa, BIG mistake!  It is that Newbie family that is already set up when you buy the SIMS.  I didn't allow them to progress in their career or add to their house first.  I just said yes the first time it asked if I wanted a baby.  I wanted to see what it was like and didn't want to use my main family.  I should have had the family I actually use have a baby since they now have a big house and great jobs.  The baby was soooo annoying!  It needed attention all the time.  Also, I didn't have enough money to build a separate room so the baby would wake everyone who was sleeping up, not just the mom character.  Now the baby is a child and I still can't afford a separate room for him!  And I can't progress the father in a career because he needs the body building machine and we can't afford it on one salary.  And the mom is too depressed to get a job.  And they are all in too bad of a mood to make friends.  And the child is doing terribly in school.  The Newbie family needs to be on welfare I think.

OH-and I finally got to see what happens if you wait too long to go to the bathroom.  The mom was so busy she didn't make it one time.

Well in the regular sims you have to make sure your characters that you want to get married don't/aren't part of your family otherwise it will never happen. I think you just flirt and stuff with the one you like until both of the bars are at the highest and you can get married.  I don't know about a wedding...I never got my people to fall in love since they lived under the same roof!

Do you have any of the cheat codes for the sims 2 or you want to play fairly? I use to cheat all the time on the regular sims so I could have an awesome house and stuff.
