So now we need reasons to buy clothes? It is a really pretty dress.

Amazing dress....I need a dress for an upcoming wedding...but I think that would be over my budget, plus it is a fancy black tie wedding for my cousin so I think I need something dressier and less flashy ( I am the flashiest member of my family and sometimes they make me feel bad if I am to flamboyant and I stick out...they suck)

i buy dresses all the time without a reason to wear them (i then tell my bf that i want to wear the dress, and we need to go somewhere ).  i would buy this dress but it's $450 preorder.  and i really want these

X4126 Braided Thong Sandal 375.00 which are more practical since i live in a city that i walk everywhere.

For something that unique and pricey, I would need a reason to buy it.

HAAAAA!!!! You're frickin' hilarious! That dress is so pretty, I'd buy it and wear it all the time for no reason at all (I'd even wear it to go eat at White Castle). I actually have a black tie event I might be going to in june, and I've never been to one. It's a charity event for all the younger rich people in my city to give $$$ to help families with a member who has AIDS (help them find/pay for housing, medical costs, etc). I'm designing the invitation/menu/reply cards/drink tickets/etc, and my company might foot the $300 ticket price for me & a co-worker to attend. The theme is a 1950's "Rock n' Bowl," and as strange as it sounds, it's being held at a bowling alley! It's supposed to be a sophisticated black tie event with a twist, but it's also a fun party. Is this dress too short/showy or not dressy enough for an event like this? I mean it's black tie, but it's at a BOWLING ALLEY!
