Belly button ring - hole closed kinda

 So I bought a cute new belly button ring in Taiwan a few weeks ago.  The bar part was a lot thinner than our standard rings here in the U.S.  So I wore it for a cople o weeks, but it was longer and kept pulling on my clothes so I took it out.  Couldn't find aother belly ring for a bout a week. I've had it for years already so I figured it wouldn't close.  Well, the hole got a lot smaller.  I managed to squeeze the ring back in and it's really tender and sore now.

Do you think the hole will re-open to the original size if I keep wearing my regular belly ring?  Or should I go back to a piercing place?

It will open back up - I've done the same thing with my pierced ears

thanks - this morning it feels a little looser and doesn't hurt anymore TG! I am not going to wear the Taiwan skinny bar one again.

PS - A little olive or vitamin E oil will help it feel more comfortable
