I love this but I refuse to pay $87 for a headband!

I have one like this from Fred Segal (its a stretchy headband style & then a connecting piece of fabric hanging down) - I LOVE it.

I can't seem to get it to look right using just a scarf.

Has anyone seen any others like this?

I'm no seamstress, but wouldn't it be fairly simple to make one of these? I am actually really loving the headband thing right now - this style, not the hard plastic Hillary Clinton style, heh.

Totally agree- just don't know how exactly. Never sewn anything before but it sure does look simple. And yes, LOVE these kinds of headbands.

$87 is a ridiculous price. There are a lot of headbands like that at the beauty supply stores in the city, or you could check Claire's boutique or places like that. As mentioned before you could also try making them.

I've picked up a few really cute ones by Goody at Target.

Just an FYI, the satin ones slide right out of my hair. I love headbands and wear them all the time when I don't fix my hair. This is my fav for the past year and 1/2! I also just got this other one for something sparkly!
