Which style of Citizens do you like better?

I just bought the first style called Elle because Nordstrom didn't have the 2nd style - Ingrid's.  Do you guys like the first pair??

I personally like the Ingrids better, they have more of a flair, which is good to balance out my hips. The elles make my hips look huge.

I LOVE the elles...the back pockets are so cute! You could always get the Naomis...they have the argyle back pocket but are cut like Ingrids.

i think it totally depends on your body type.  if i tried on all the pairs that COH has out- some would look great and others would look awful (i know- i've done it).  if you look good in the elles- go with them!

what Rocky said! I have the ingrids and I think they are great, but I have a hourglass shape so I always prefer flared jeans.

yeah I just happen to be a die-hard boot-cut fan so I like the ingrids better (have a pair in fact, in that wash) but the others don't look bad. Just as long as you don't stray into pegged/tapered/Mischa Barton revives the 80s territory you will be all good.

LOL - trust me, I will never restort to tapered leg/mischa barton revives the 80's territory!  The Elles I got (first pair) are totally bootcut, just not super flared.

I own the Ingrids and was thinking of getting the elles.  Are these the lite cordoba wash?  That's such a cool spring/summer wash, IMO.


I love my ingrids but I think the elles are very cute as well and if you're not too curvy they will look super fabulous.  I tried them on at Nordies a few weeks ago and fell in love.   I just bought a pair of jeans but I took a mental note on these and will probably get them if there's a code or a sale. 

Like halleybird mentioned, the argyle pocket rocks and the wash is so perfect for warm weather. HTH!

Yes, I got the light Cordoba wash.  They are a really awesome color for spring and I love the argyle back pockets!!  You should defintely pick up a pair.

#2 by a long shot.


I like the wash better (not fond of all the whiskering on the other pair)


They look "crisper"


I like that they're more flared at the hem. Don't like straight-leg or slightly bootcut jeans.
