Free Makeup!

Hey Ladies! I haven't been on here in a while because law school has managed to eat up my life. I came across something that I thought you'd all love.

As part of a class action lawsuit settlement, department stores are going to be giving out free cosmetics products tomorrow! They're giving away $175 million worth of products for a max of 7 days while supplies last.

For more info about what stores are participating and what products are being given away check out this site: http://www.cosmeticssettlement.com/

Hope this helps!!

I personally think this settlement is a little silly. They aren't going to be able to prove if you actually purchased one of the products or make sure you don't get more than one. It would be nice to get a freebie, but I'm afraid of how crazy the stores are going to be at the counters.

I'd rather pay for a product than deal with the madness/chaos.

I heard about this too.  Supposedly they are going to have a table set up just for the free cosmetics.

Yes We Can! (Get Free Makeup) I got a full size SJP Lovely bath gel at Macy's - and the line wasn't too long and went very quickly.

Could today be any better ???? !!!!!!

I wasn't going to go because like Kitty, I didnt want to deal with the madness.

My co-worker convinced me and we were in line for 2 minutes and we each chose a Ralph Lauren Body Wash. I figured it was the most convenient product to chose, it was full size and I can throw it in my gym bag in the mornings before work.

Amen, sister. There's a farmers' market in the mall parking lot on Tuesday afternoons, and I wanted green beans. I could not believe the line! A block long. For one free product?

ETA: I think it's excellent marketing. Lots of people will want a product they haven't tried before, get hooked, and keep on buying it.

I went to the mall not know about this and there was no one at all there. I walked right up, signed my name, and got my stuff. guess it depends on where you go.
