So I just found out Friday I'm going to the inauguration to take photos for my newspaper.

What do I wear?!

I'm planning on wearing layers ... but here's my question ... can I wear a sweater dress with jeans and sneakers? I'm wearing a long black coat over everything.

Any tips, ideas, suggestions?

Keep your feet warm! I highly recommend boots, rather than sneakers.

What about wearing black pants and flat boots? You can still layer just as well (I'd say tights under the pants, definitely!) but it will look nicer than jeans and sneakers.
