Best powder foundation?

I used to use Stila's Illuminating Powder Foundation, which I loved the look of and the spf in it. I quit using it because it kept getting slightly flakey on the dry areas on my face. Since then I've started mixing a high-spf moisturizer with a tinted moisturizer and wearing just that every day. I've bought a bunch of cheapie powders in the meantime, attempting to find a little something to cover a bit of red and combat shine (from all the moisturizers), but I guess you get what you pay for because they all suck.

Any suggestions for a powder foundation, hopefully with spf? Right now I'm thinking about going back to Stila but I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions. I don't like too much coverage and I have dry skin (not acne-prone). Recs needed!

I'm obsessed with Everyday Minerals. They give you generously sized free samples (you just pay $3 shipping) and when you are ready to buy, it's super affordable. It sounds like you might like the Original Glo formula. It's the only foundation I've tried that doesn't look cakey or chalky on my skin. Also, you can mix it with your moisturizer to make tinted moisturizer.
They used to have some finishing powders that could be used as sunblock, but it seems they've quit making them or something. I just put my foundation on after my moisturizer/spf sinks in and it works great!

I use Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15. It's the only mineral powder foundation I've tried and I really like it, I think it looks really natural. I do get a little carried away sometimes and apply too much but that's my fault and not the product's. I also wear Aveeno moisurizer with SFP30 under it.

I think I want to try everday minerals soon, as a foundation when I am not at work. Everything on their site is super affordable.

Sheseido makes an excellent powder w/ an SPF.

i also really like mineral foundation. i have found that there is not really much difference in brands besides the price, and the colors they carry. i used to be very loyal to bare minerals, but their lightest color is still kind of yellow for me. i tried sheer cover and jane iredale mineral makeups as well and they are all the same thing. i ended up using loreal. i was really shocked to find that the quality is just the same, and loreal makes really pale shades of makeup that are not pink so the color is a perfect match for me.

ps: another bonus to the loreal, is the price. using a less expensive foundation leaves me able to spend a little extra on the fun stuff.

I also use Everyday Minerals and love it for all of the same reasons!  I have also noticed that shipping is usually pretty quick.
