Just wanted to touch base on stylethread and update you all on what's going on.

First of all, my new business partner flaked on me, and we are in the process of switching everything over to me.

Secondly, without my partner, the site is not going to be as fantastical as I planned, but still good.

One new feature we will have is blogs, so that will be a plus. 

With the economy as it is, there's very little coming in through the affiliates to support the site, so I am going to try to get the majority of a new site up within the next couple of months to reduce all the hosting costs we currently have.

As things progress, I'll keep you all updated...

Also, as a side note, when I post something like this many fabulous STers tend to generously offer help.  If you would like to offer to help, please be specific in regard to what you would like to help with.  As far as what I need help with at this time is in the form of donations, as our bank account is barely keeping us afloat and my ability to infuse cash is restricted right now...  I'm not begging, don't feel obligated, but if you are inclined to help, a few dollars will go a long way.  Donations can be made through PayPal to shop@stylethread.com.

i just want to say: i've gotten so much help from girls on this forum and it's one of my favorite websites. i feel like the least i could do is donate something to help you out. thanks for all you do, Kris!

ditto for all the help I got from ST- I have been so sick I couldn't even take my cc out of my wallet, but now that I am feeling better, I'll happily do it! smile

I'm in for $10. Hope it helps! I'm also glad to donate my time and/or expertise but I have no idea what skills I have that might be useful to you. I'm good with spreadsheets, simple organization, and, um, crafty stuff. If you need any of those skills, let me know!
