What is the earlist you can use a home pregancy test?  When I was pregnant with my daughter it was 1st day missed.  Are there more sensetive ones now?  Last month I was 3 weeks late, but eventually got "it".  Now I'm experienceing some symptoms, but I don't want to jump the gun.  Any advice?

With my son, it took me 3-4 weeks of a missed period to get a positive test... With this pregnancy, I was about 4 days late, but I started experiencing symptoms like um a few days after conception LOL...I heard it is like that with the 2nd pregnancy..

How late are you?

Well if I go by the first day of my last (.) then I'm not technically late.  But that (.) was 19 days late.  I took a test at that time and got a neg result.  Then got a (.) a few days later, so in all my last (.) was 21 days late.  Counting frist day of that one, this months is not late.  Does that make sense?

I think so!! LOL

Maybe you should go to the pharmacy and get the early tests that have like 3 in them just in case.  Good luck!

I think that's what I'm going to do.  Are those test OTC, do I need to specifically ask for one or is it a reugular like EPT?

Yeah they are all OTC... I remember going through packs and packs of them with my first pregnancy because I knew I was pregnant, but didn't get a positive test yet!

Pink---Whatever you do, do NOT get the EPT brand (early pregnancy test).  They totally suck b/c they are way less sensitive than others despite what they say on the box.  They gave me a false negative, & my cheapo generic CVS test was more accurate than that one.  Seriously, that test is NOT reliable unless you have a lot of hcg hormones in your system, which you won't have early on.  I hope you read this before you go to the store.  I'm not sure what to recommend, you might want to ask the pharmacits or just go with a generic, they're pretty accurate IMO and a lot cheaper!  HTH!

I got positives all three times very early---like 10 or 12 days after conception...a couple of days before period is due. Obviously, they are the most accurate after your period was due. If you don't want to waste a lot of money, believe it or not the Dollar Tree preg tests worked just as early and soon as the EPT and ClearBlue. I bought about 10 $1 just to make sure....
