RE: Weekend Shopping

I had a decent shopping weekend. I bought a beautiful olive green suede crescent bag by Via Spiga at TJMAxx for $38 (the original tag had it marked at $190). I bought a lot of jewelry too, (sale items at BR and a whole pile from a small local boutique that specializes in imported jewelry), but none of it is on the web & I don't have a camera, so no pics!

I went to my fav antique mall (it's called "Brass Armadillo!") with my little sister and bought some great stuff:

bronze abstract screen-print (framed) dated 1968 (no name) $3
drinking glasses with bright colored prints on them (orange, teal & greens) $2 ea.
chartreuse (sp?), teal & orange patterned scarf $3
funky 70's teal boomerang ashtray $5
olive green pyrex mixing bowl w/white flowers $8
a few unframed vintage prints & sheet music $3-$5 ea. (I buy sheet music with interesting covers & put them in frames to hang in my house)

and my favorite find of the day at the brass armadillo: an Entienne Aigner dark red leather purse, $10(!!), shaped kind of like this:

in this red color:

I bought a light blue sheer button up w/ruffly collar thing going on from Banana (didn't see a pic on the site)

Bought a lot of cute cheap things from ON:

bought a few of these in diff. colors
This was only $7 and it actually looked cute on me:

I also bought some cute clutches for $4 each (no pic on site) and a nice black trench, among other things.

BUT...my biggest scores this weekend were from the consignment shop where I sell my stuff. Not only did they have $65 for me, but I found a beautiful orange Kors by Michael Kors pencil skirt for $50! I know what you all are thinking (orange!?!?!?!?), but the color is amazing (and orange is my fav color) and it fits me like a glove. I also got a brand new pair (with tags) of PDC jeans from here for $20! When my BF gets back from Seattle in few days, I'll use his camera to take pictures. I have a few outfit ideas for the Kors skirt, but I definitely want input from you all! (especially on shoe options) Yeah for clothes & deals!

ETA: almost forgot! I also got a burgundy snakeskin-embossed leather purse by Nicole Miller with bronze buckles attaching the handles to the purse, kind of like this:

and another one for closing it. I was $12 at TJ's.

Actually, truth be told, a small would probably be a better fit for me, since the petites are really form-fitting and a little short on me. BUT I keep finding smokin' deals on the petites so I am making it work!
