I'n thinking they are way to equestrian looking-plus they are described to come just below the knee, seems high, but i am somehow drawn to them. they are cheap on ebay now, and since it's still cold i can justify them- but are they awful? how would u were them? I really need outfit suggestions! i'm such a dunce when it comes to boots

I don't think they'll work for spring/summer (they just seem too... I don't know... heavy? heavier than frye campus or cowboy boots...), but they could work for fall in a boho meets classic 1930-40's way... I could see them with full solid skirt and high necked blouse - depends on how dramatically you want to push the fashion envelope... If you love them, get them. They'll look great if you wear them with confidence...

The equestrian look has been suggested by designers for several years now (including last fall), but hasn't really been embraced by consumers - I have equestrian boots in the back of my closet for when the wave comes back around - they are a classic look, and you probably won't go wrong buying them...

i think you could make them work, but maybe think about if you're buying them just because they are on sale.  it seems like everytime i do that, it comes back to bite me.  also, $30 here and $30 there could add up to something that you really WANT and could use more.
