Ideas for Green Cupcake Party for a 3 yr old

So Camille wants a green cupcake party for her 3rd birthday.

I am going to make a cupcake cake and ice it green of course. I was also thinking about cupcake decorating and making aprons for each of the guests to take home with a cupcake.

Any other ideas for fun cupcake party ideas....

What if you do this instead of cupcakes?  Its one huge cupcake-shaped cake mold from Williams Sonoma.

I love http://howtoeatacupcake.net - lots of great cupcake recipes! You could make a vanilla recipe and put green food coloring in it, so it's a genuine green cupcake and not just iced green.

I think getting everyone their own apron is an adorable idea - you could get iron-on transfers and put everyone's name on their apron. Or, if the parents are coming too, maybe just get a bunch of decorations and let the moms and daughters make an apron together?

btw, I love that she chose "green cupcakes" as a party theme. that is the cutest thing ever!!

Check out the book "Hello, Cupcake" they have done the most creative things ever with cupcakes.

Also, I have that big cupcake mold. I have had a hard time getting all the batter to cook without overbaking the sides, so if you get it, do a few test runs first.

Love the apron idea!

In the "dollar" section of my Target I saw lots of baking accessories, fun confetti for icing, and half aprons. I got an adorable polka dotted one.

FWIW, I was just at Target yesterday and they did have some fun baking stuff in the $1 section. They also had that big cupcake mold for $30.
