CRAPHEADS!!!  So I had my 1st Drs appointment since last August scheduled for today - I actually had to save up money for my copay b/c my insurance is so crappy.  I leave work and get all the way downtown, pay to park, find their freakin' office, and the receptionist says "Oh, you didn't get our message?  We called to reschedule b/c your doctor threw her back out and isn't seeing any patients today." 


We verified the phone number and everything, but I don't even show a missed call much less a message on my stupid - @$$ cell phone!!!  So now not only do I have to pay my exorbitant copay, I will now lose twice as much time at work and have to pay to park twice!

Whew, glad I'm not bitter or anything .


Cell phones suck.

Oh that does suck.  Sorry.  But girls you crack me up with that bitter comment.  I know i have Nextel and at times I'll get a VM like hours after someone left it.

why did u have to pay the copay if the doc wasn't seeing patients?  don't u usually pay at the end of the visit anyways (maybe not, i think i've done both actually)?  i would get my $$ back if i were u!

LMonet - call verizon and complain.  Once I complained to Sprint b/c I never received an important call for an interview.  Sprint gave me credit for 1 month's of service - may help with the whole paying for parking twice!

I was wondering the same thing? Usually they will only charge you if you're the one that didn't cancel the appt. within 24 hrs and they were still expecting you to show but this was the dr's fault that you couldn't be seen. Is there any way that you can get a refund?

Don't have to pay the copay until I actually see the doc (thank goodness)!  I think I will call, Tara - between parking and missed work they cost me more than $20 . . . . crapheads!

I second that. There are many times that I will have dropped calls or no service because of the area that I am in. I will call and complain. In the begginning they would give me free mins, but I didn't really need them, because just about everyone I talk to has the verizon "in" thing. Now they either refund money to my account or they will credit me w/ free ringtones or something from the "get it now" section.
