In this thread those Gap pants were discussed, but I was never sure about what the material of the pants was like.  Some of the posters thought the person asking the question may have been directed to the wrong pair of pants.  Could you tell me what the material is like?

I stayed away from this thread yesterday because I too have the pants and like them.  The material is a canvas-y twill, yes it is slightly thick and textured.  The fit of these pants really flatters me and I LOVE the wider leg.  HTH a little.

Hey Meow, Sorry it took so long to respond I've been out of the office the last few days in meetings.  I love those pants, they fit me really well and I love the cut.  I own them in all four colors.  They may not work for everyone but I would definetly say to try them on and see how you feel about them.  The material is different but I think there a great buy for the money.  Try them and let us know if they work for you.  Good Luck!
