outfit challenge- 80's outfit for new year's eve

Here are some ideas to start. I have noticed at the 80's theme parties I've gone to a lot of the younger girls have been wearing 90's prom dresses. I think people forget how nutty the early 90's were with color and style and confuse that with the 80's. 80's prom dresses were in fact a lot more romantic and soft in style.

How fun! I got sucked into Can't Buy Me Love this weekend, and it brought back a wave of 80's nostalgia. Some of the fashion highlights included:

- oversized blazers with the sleeves rolled up
- neon bright, plastic hoop earrings and stacks of plastic bracelets
- leggings
- pegged jeans
- gigantic hair
- socks scrunched over leggings and jeans in colors that matched the outfit
