A hydrating mask?
Permalink Closed

I think i'm going to start using a mask once a week (or however much im supposed to use it). I've heard its supposed to be really good for you so why not try it? I have dry skin so i'm looking for something that's really hydrating. Any suggestions?

I'm using Yonka Hydratant (not sure I spelled that right) and I love it.

I had one that was by natural elements (?) it was exoensive, but amazing! I think it was like $20 though, so I would probably only use it once a month. It felt so nice on though and I could really feel a difference. I'll see if I can find a pic later.

I really like Astara Golden Flame for a hydrating mask. I swear it plumps the skin around my eyes.

I had the same question this weekend and a friend of mine suggested Aveda's Intensive Hydrating Mask (I think it's $19). She is a bit of a product junkie and really likes this one (even though she dislikes most other Aveda skincare products). I have yet to try it myself but I will probably pick it up this week and will post my thoughts. It got fair to good reviews on MakeupAlley.com too.

I have insanely dry skin (worse in winter), and got this olive face mask from Bath & Body Works for xmas. I don't shop there (the place stinks so bad; just walking by gives me a sensory-overload headache), and I've never used their skin stuff before, but I really like this mask. It's really hyrating. I don' t know how much it cost, but that place is pretty cheap, so it can't be too bad.

i really like the shiseido one that is like a clear jelly--i think it's called hydra something (pretty sure they only have one). it's very old-skool--my mom has been using it since she was a teenager. which reminds me that i should break mine out and use it this week. it's hydrating and purifying, but doesn't feel overly goopy or greasy.
