I absolutely love practically all of their frozen desserts.  Chocolate Ganache cake.  A berry trifle cake.  The Key Lime Cheesecake.  There are so many to choose from - just try any of them.  They are sooooo goood!!!

Personally I've never been there but my co-worker says it is sooo good. "

Ooooh...I am jealous! I swear the best cheap food in the world is in San Gabriel. I don't think I could ever get sick of dim sum...between dim sum and sushi, I would never eat anything else again.

Awww no Charles Shaw?  Thats horrible.  When they first started carrying it here (I'm in Sacramento) it was total madness, everyone thought it was a fluke and would sell out, never to be seen again.  My dad bought four cases one weekend and four more the next.

Two years later its become my standard table wine, I don't know what I would do if they stopped carrying it

late to this thread- but omg.  I love Trader Joe's and this list is phenomenal.  Keep adding, I want it all.  I can't think of any names of things right now- I like a frozen dish that is in a round individual container- it is $1.99- its pad thai and tofu with a spicey peanut sauce.  It's really filling for only $1.99.  I also LOVE the guacamole that comes two packages in a box- they sell it at other stores too but i always remember it when I'm at Trader Joe's.  I second their soy milk rec- I like their choc. soy milk the best and i've tried like 9 million brands.  And different store- but the cheddar sesame sticks at MOMs are SOOOO addictive.  I wonder if they have them at Trader Joe's too

When I have nothing better to do on Friday nights...I'm adding to the list.

  • Cooked Shrimp: In the prepared foods section, with all the salads and stuff, you can get these...sooo yummy and since the cooking's already done. I throw it in linguine, season with herbs and olive oil and you have most of your meal done in 20ish minutes.

  • The Just Blueberry juice is really really good and made from 100% blueberries...loaded with antioxidants and all the other good stuff.

  • Pad Thai comes in a bag in the forzen section...it is the most brainless meal ever. Just boil noodles, stir fry veggies, and throw in something like the cooked shrimp or some chicken and in 10 minutes, meal is done. Plus, I'm Thai and it actually tastes like Thai food...the smell of the sauce while it's cooking is divine.

  • Thai Iced Tea...*sigh*...If it wasn't for this I would go to Thai restaurants every day just to drink it. I've lived on this drink since I was seven and I can make it myself now.
