I went running two days ago for the first time in MONTHS, and even did a little bit of sprinting.  Then yesterday I did a  little more running, alternating with jump rope, squats, and those jumps where you crouch down then jump as high as you can with your legs straight.  Today, I literally can't walk.  I've been sore many-a-time, where everything hurt, but I could move at least.  Today I have to take baby steps everywhere and lean on things for support.  I have to run errands today, and I don't think I can walk out to my car in the parking garage.  I CAN"T MOVE!!! this is terrible!  Any tips/experiences with this?

I am sorry to hear you are sore. I know how bad that sucks. I would suggests putting ice the sore parts of your body or in your case just sit in a bathtub of ice- for about 20 mins at a time. I know there is a reason you are only suppose to put ice on for 20 min. intervals, but I don't remember why at the moment. Make sure you drink plenty of water and try not to sit too long because your muscles will become stiff. Walk around every once in a while- this will help to get oxygen to your sore muscles. Stretch the sore area gently to rid your body of lactic acid, which contributes to the pain and take an anti-inflammatory medicine. I usually take ibuprofen. I hope something works for you.

take some advil!  i never think to take pain medication for anything but cramps & the occasional headache, but it's meant for all kinds of pain so give it a try!

Soak in Epsom Salts. They are sold at the drug store for cheap. (spa tip-stand in the tub as it fills. Splash water on yourself, and rub the salt into your skin. It's great exfoliation, and when you actually get in the tub, the salt will disolve and aleviate the pain. Also, it pulls water away from the body, so drink lots of water when you get out) Put in a few drops of essential oils and you've got a whole spa aroma therapy thing going.

yep, i agree on the epsom salts thing.  you can also try this one by abra that they sell at beauty supply stores (and sephora i think) that smells like rosemary and is called "muscle soothing" or something.  i use that one a lot because it works and the smell is nice.

having ice on a sore muscle for more than 20 minutes won't hurt you.  they usually just say to do it for 20 minutes because it's not really effective after that--your skin is numbed and the ice has done all it can do.

I would say stretch and stay warm and take ibuprofen.  You can also try gently massaging your muscles to speed your circulation.  Did you stretch after you ran?
