I really like this as a cute cheap summer top - only $32. But, I'm worried it might be too young for me. (I'm 28 and, have I mentioned, majorly bothered by it all of a sudden!)

I know what you mean tho.  I just turned 30.  Although, I don't mind that I'm 30, I'm suddenly very aware of women my age who look like they are "trying too hard" by dressing really young.

I voted no, but not because you are too old.  I am 28 too and we are not old chick.  Neither are you thurty-somethings on the board!!
