Opinions On These Necklaces?

DH told me this weekend that he had an idea to get me a "mothers necklace" to put in my stocking for Christmas.  However, he said all of the ones that he's looked at look "old". He knows the "tradional" mothers necklace really isn't my style.  He asked me to look online, as he doesn't do much on the web.  I thought Etsy would be a good place to start and have come accross some really cute ones.  What do you think of these?

And then there's the "birds nest" necklaces which I think are cute! I love what the signify.  The sellers said they could be customized as I'd only need one egg and would want all silver.

I really like the bird's nest idea. I also like the one with two birds because it shows that you and DH are a team, raising your sweet baby bird.

The nest is cool, sweet and symbolic. I like the last picture with only one bird. Yes, you and DH are a team...but this is a mother's necklace and it's all about you, mama! Plus, I simply like the visual balance better.

Oh crap...the more I look at it, the more I want one for myself. Are there any photos showing what just one bead in the nest looks like?  Would you mind sharing the sellers name?

My friend's husband recruited me to find a gift from him, and I looked at several items like that. What I learned is if you want something custom from Etsy, decide soon, since many sellers have a cutoff for Christmas delivery.

I like the 2nd one for being very modern and the bird's nest as well.. The bird and birds nest for some reason I feel like people will just think its a cute little charm, but not know the significance. Either way they are really cute alternatives! Way to go DH
