While completing my holiday shopping, I am also keeping my eyes open for a gift for my sister.  She'll turn 30 in January.  

She likes clutches and she likes striking, mysterious colors, so this Lauren Merkin clutch caught my eye.  I can get it for apx. $120.

What do you think about this as a gift?  

She often wears black tops/sweaters with dressy jeans, sharp pumps in different colors like dark, muted teal, magenta, and green.  She'll top it off with a pair of earrings that pick up the fun color, and or she'll carry a bag that picks up the fun color.

I think that's a classic. It looked great in the 80s and still does IMO.
