I got a job!

I am going to be working part-time at Banana, woohoo!  This is perfect too because I will still be able to get my unemployment (because I won't be making a lot of money) and I can volunteer at schools a couple days a week.  

Also, I will be able to keep the job up until I find a teaching job and work a couple of days a week for extra cash if I decide to do it after I start to teach.  YAY!!

Congratulations! And employee discounts do not suck. I have two friends who kept their retail bookstore jobs on the weekends while they worked "real jobs" full time just for the discounts!

Congrats, Farrah!  That's great.  I had a PT retail job too in a boutique when I worked FT as an attorney and I loved it!  It was so easy and fun compared to my "day job."  I literally did it for the discount only and b/c it was fun (i would have worked for free just to have the discount, lol).  Def. keep us posted on all the great stuff there!

Alright chickie, congrats!!  I had a lot of fun when I worked at Express part time.
Oh, also a few years ago when my brother worked at Gap, he got occasional 40% discounts at Banana.  Which Banana?
