That jacket is very nice...kinda-Cacharel-esque. But I wouldn't swing $148 for that either.

I read on another board that this recent attempt to upscale Express with the price increases hasn't worked out, so that there are going to be frequent discounts at the stores.

Express fabrics are almost always acrylic or rayon or some other synthetic, so I would really hesitate to spend that on that jacket, especially if I hadn't seen it in person. It's good to hear their prices are going back down, because I like them for fun, seasonal items, but I would never go there for key peices - the quality just isn't there.

FYI, the jacket is 40% off now! Most jackets are 40% off right now.

Also .... starting March 23 there's going to be a promotion for 20% off $50 or more. You have to have the coupon but we're giving them out at the cash register right now. HTH!
