Hi girls, so here's my question: I have this orange crochetted poncho (kind of boho looking) that I bought last year. I wore it a lot because it is lovely and does amazing things to my complexion. I want to wear it again but I know ponchos are so out right now. A good friend visited me yesterday and we "played" with my wardrobe... When she saw the poncho she said, "how ugly" but when she saw it on me she said I had to wear it no matter the trends because it looks so good on. I am hesitant. What do you say?

Wear it. If you like something it should not matter what is in or out!

Wear it.  If it looks great on you, it doesn't matter if its out imo.

I say wear it.  Things become "in" because the fashion powers that be say it is "in" (or "out" for the same reason.)  Think about Sienna Miller.  She has been "boho" forever,  and only now is boho becoming "in".  She was basically wearing "boho" when it was "out".  I think the most important thing is that you wear something because it looks good on you and because you like it.  If it looks good on you, then it doesn't matter if it is in or out,  because all people will be thinking is how good you look.

I agree with everyone else. Wear it if you love it. It is so much more important to feel good in what you are wearing than to be "fashionable". Better to have personal style!
