Tomorrow is the 1st and a Monday... Diet anyone?
Permalink Closed

With December 1st also falling on a Monday, I thought it would be the perfect time to start a diet. Anyone up for a diet and exercise before the holidays and need this board for support?

Anyone else game?

My co-worker and I promised each other to start the Master Cleanse diet tomorrow. You have to drink at aleast three liter bottles of water with the following mixed in:

- cayenne pepper
- lemon balm
- flax seed oil
- grade B organic maple syrup

We did it before Halloween for a few days. Not sure f I felt anything, but it does make you go pee a lot.weirdface.gif

I've actually come back from Thxgiving in Vegas weighing less than before we left. lol... go figure.

I'm game! I've gotten very lazy in my cooking lately (which means falling back on things that tend to be junk-y) and am snacking way too much.

My co-worked tried that awhile back. Her adult children tried it and lost quite a bit of weight. She lost some, but was very ill feeling while on it. She figured it was the toxins being flushed out, but she sure must have been toxic, because she missed a LOT of work.

I'm TOTALLY in! I lost over 30lbs a couple of years ago but it's been slowly creeping back on. I'm going back to the UK for Christmas on 12/22 and I'd love to have lost a little weight and feel a little better about myself when I go back!

ME! I have to do something! When my butt dosen't fit into my Hudson's anymore, that should be a big warning sign for me!
What's harder for me is the working out part. I'm just so lazy. But I will try my best to get up and going tomorrow....

I'm in! My boyfriend and I actually have a bet going on who can lose 10 lbs first and keep it off for at least 2 weeks (15 lbs for him).

so how did everyone do today? I did ok,considering I haven't been to the grocery store yet and had to work with what I had in.

B: homemade croissant (very small, guessing ~200 calories), coffee with skim milk
L: kashi pesto pasta
D: 1/2 chicken breast rolled with 1 slice prosciutto and 1/2 slice provolone cooked with onion in a splash of marsala, 1/2 serving pasta, sauteed spinach
S: hot chocolate with a little fat free redi-whip

And I used my wii fit for 40 minutes. Not the best workout, but that's 40 more minutes than I've been doing! wink.gif

I'd love to join in too.  I've been on weight watchers for a couple of months actually and have lost about 13 lbs, which is a lot for me, but it would be great to have a group of ppl to be accountable to (i don't attend the meetings, just weigh ins).  also, the problem for me with WW is that i've lost a lot of weight but have not really toned, so i need to focus on lowering my body fat percentage instead of the scale (scale-wise i am doing fine, bit i still feel flabby).  so i'll be posting my exercise and food and so forth, and doing my body fat percentage each month.

Doing good all week except last night had a little too much wine and cheese last night with friends smile.gif  Need to pick up the pace on exercise.  Starting to do push ups a few at a time - best overall thing you can do for your body apparently - I'm seeing a difference  in my arms and upper body.
