I did some online and in-store shopping this weekend.

In-store:

I bought a Laundry pink and green vertical striped spring trench I have been watching for months at Loehmann's. It finally went down to $75 on clearance. I bought a new pink umbrella at Target to match it.

I bought 4 (blue, navy blue, red, pink) petite mock cardigans at Sears

I bought a lavender The Sak shoulder bag at TJ Maxx. I can't wait for the weather to warm up a little, because I have a raincoat and trench that match the bag.

Online (Smart Bargains):

I bought a Tank Watch,

a gold plated link watch (sorry no pic, I guess they sold out of it),

a bamboo blend top,

and a tank (in black).

OK, I am giving my credit and debit card a rest for a couple of weeks

I am about 10 days away from ending the ban, yay!  I was on a waitlist for the Kooba Scarlett in white with gold whipstitching and it just came in, so I ordered it.  I'll probably get it later this week:

I'm still deciding which other bag to get...

I did go shopping for the first time in a loong time and I saw many things I liked but didn't buy anything.  I was mostly checking things out because as soon as the ban is over I'm going on a little birthday spree.   Can't wait!!

What date is your ban over?  Mine is over March 22.  That is when I plan to go shopping.  I have done a tiny bit of shopping already, but nothing like I plan to do then.

I haven't ever joined in on "confessions" of the weekend spending as stated earlier, but this is too fun too see what everyone bought over the weekend!

These in pink, of course

This in black because it fit well & I haven't been having the easiest time with skirts, but it wasn't on sale in the store, which kinda irks me.

And this cami but it's green with lt blue lace, and I can't believe there isn't a picture because although it is sold as sleepwear, i was going to try to build an outfit around it - was one of those "strangely drawn to it" items. And I was going to ask for help here!

I plan for it to end on my birthday, which is the 16th.  Right now I'm making up a spring/summer must-have wishlist.  One of the main reasons for this self-imposed ban was to have a better planned spring wardrobe.  Each spring I tend to impulse-buy as soon as stuff hits the stores because it's cold and nasty outside.  Then I can't even wear most of it because it's so cold and by the time it's warm enough most of the items I bought have gone on sale.  I think this will be way more satisfying and fun.

This weekend was pretty much a "back to basics" weekend for me, but I got a few extras too.

On Friday night, I got some BCBG bronzish color shoes (like the ones below) with the flower detail in gold.  They were on clearance for $29 at TJ Maxx.  Woohoo.  I wish I could find a pic of the color, but I can't...but here is the style...

Then, today I purchased the following at Old Navy:

And a aqua colored scarf with silver sequins on it that isn't online, but was new in the store.

At Overstock I got:

This necklace

10-kt. White Gold Diamond Circle Necklace (.12 TW)

This book about quilts (I'm going to learn to sew..., so I can make one instead of paying $2000).

This watch...

Seiko Premier Ladies Stainless Steel Watch

I got some earrings from ebay...

Then from Target I bought...

Khaki Pants (I liked the style and was shocked that I loved the fit too!!)

And the Bambi Movie plus two rescue heros micro adventure sets (it is my for my nephews b-day on St. Patty's Day).

Then, the mother of all mother, I ordered this... (can't wait to get it!!!) from ylang-ylang.

I wanted this one, but it was too much$$$, so I settled for the one minus diamonds...

Now, I am watching this stuff to bid on ebay...

Then, I called my mom and made her order a couple of suits I saw online because she is going on a business trip with my dad and I thought she needed some "spring-colored" blazers.  She wasn't that hard to persuade.  Hope she likes them when they come in because she was taking my word for it over the phone.

Phew, I'm tired now and so is my checkbook, so I'm going to log off and get away from ebay and online shopping!

I was looking at that second necklace...you lucky girl.  Don't feel bad, his jewelry is gorgeous.  I think all of us on stylethread are bidding against each other on his stuff!

Just this...(a shirt from Max & Co, my favorite place in the world...the kitty is dreaming of its long-dead seafood dinner. )

And a USB Notebook card since my USB ports were busted and I couldn't live without the ability to transfer my pictures from my digital camera to my computer.

i did some damage this weekend...

i'm almost out of my bare minerals foundation, so from sephora i ordered that, this vincent longo mascara    in black, and some l'occitane hand cream for my purse.

oh, and a stila lip glaze in cinnamon...i'm forever looking for a reddish gloss that's not too clowny on me, and i love cinnamon so i figured why not?  i hope it's yummy (in appearance and flavor).

then at macy's i got a really cute shirt by studio m? i think, it's silk chiffon, black with tiny purple flowers and a black sash, it's fantastic and i got it for $17! (originally $70)...i also got a dkny purse for $70 (originally $195) that i'm trying to find a picture of...it's pebbled leather, kelly green, and gorgeous!  it was the first thing i saw when i walked into the store and i knew i had to have it...i also got a navy/white pinstripe dkny skirt, but it's cut with these ruffles...i can't describe it, but i love it (wearing it today!) and i'm trying to find a pic of that also, i need some outfit ideas.  $59 down from $119.  my bf said it looks like scales or something.  men.

and i got this ae skirt click for details  i have a serious problem in that i cannot pass by anything green.  make it stop.  i'm not crazy about the rope belt with it, but we'll see...

then for my new office, i got a painting of poppies in a frame for $22 at marshall's (i really like it!) and a purple tablecloth for my plant stand (we have a peace lily i'm trying to nurse back to life...it didn't like the main office at all).

i'm still itching to buy some more, so maybe your posts will inspire me!

Oooh, I love everyone's stuff. I am totally living vicariously since I am still on semi-probation. Detroit, I LOVE the jewelry and that Anthro sweater.

All I bought was a really cute purple BCBG cardigan that is cut like a blazer. I "needed" something for an important client meeting this week, and didn't want to spend much $. I found it at Ross (!) for 28.99!
