VS Coats?
Permalink Closed

I desperately need a new winter coat and really like some of these from Victoria's Secret. Anyone seen IRL or own? Also, please let me know if you know how they fit...true to size? run large or small? I'm petite so don't want to get one that will go too far past my knees. TIA

Not sure about what color I'd want either. I have a black coat now but it's kinda old and beat up, but like the idea of a cream coat, or maybe even red.

I don't know about quality and sizing, but I have heard that they aren't very warm, and are better for autumn than any kind of snowy weather.

The one I have is definitely TTS.  Not exact, but mine is similar to your #3.  Just a classic, single-breasted dress coat.  I would buy another VS coat if I were in the market for one.

Shopchicago and I actually saw a girl wearing the first one the other day and it is totally adorable in person. It doesn't look cheap (like a lot of their coats do) at all. Neither of us were super keen on the buttons, but those are easily replacedwink.gif.

I just received this one in the mail:
V277688.jpg

I haven't worn it yet, but it looks cute just trying it on at home.  I'm a size 4/6 in pants and a small in tops.  I ordered this in a 4 and it fits perfectly.  Super cute in person.  Seems really warm but haven't worn it out in the cold yet to vouch for that.

I vote #3 - I think its the most timeless and versatile.  I like #2 a lot too

Farrah's right - we did just see #1 and it was cute, however, I absolutely hate the buttons.  They are so bright gold, it cheapened the look of the coat IMO.  But like she said, those could be easily replaced.

I actually prefer #2 if the quality is ok.  Every coat I've ever tried from VS was a piece of garbage IME.

Just had a thought - have you tried Jcrew coats? - must nicer then VS and they are having a sale this week - I think 30% off...
