I am really loving this necklace, but my boyfriend tells me it is tacky. I think it is kind of funny.

I think it's cute and I can see someone wearing it as a sort of statement... but if you're gonna wear it I guess you'd have to be prepared for some people to give you a hard time... just my two cents

lol. I think it's really funny. It's a fun piece and I think it's supposed to be kind of tawdry. I would wear it to a club or out for drinks with friends and use it as a conversation piece.

i agree completely. i would LOVE it w/the right outfit- but anything sexy would be turned tacky by it.

I am not a real "sexy" type of girl. So I think I could pull it off and people would realize(hopefully) that I am being a dork .

hehehe.  This reminds me of the Abercrombie t-shirt I bought a couple of years ago that says "hottest campus girlius" on it in old english letters.  I bought it to wear ironically, but I feel weird wearing it sometimes- like people actually just think i am stuck up.  If i'm in the right mood though, it's fun to wear- which is how i imagine this necklace to be.

It was Sam who wore it, & I think it was long enough ago that you can pull it off w/out looking like you saw it on the show & went out & bought it.  When I first saw it, I thought- yes- its cute in a tacky sort of way.  Im diggin it!!

I think its cool for like going out to a club, pairing it with a funky outift would look cute. Maybe a newsboy style cap, with a blazer, funky t-shirt under, and some cool vintage jeans.

is that from white trash charms? i've been eyeing it (well the one with the lady with the afro) for awhile and going through a similar debate, esp. b/c as bumblebee pointed it was on satc.  i don't know...i think it's really cute, in a crazy kitschy kind of way. but then i also have a soft spot for tacky 80's accessories. if i were to buy it, i'd wear it with a really simple outfit and have it just be my "fun" accessorie.
