7 A Pockets

Okay. I LOVE Sevens. And I know a lot of you girls do too. I don't want to be the one to go against the grain, but after what happened with my A Pockets the other day, I have to post.

I've had my stretch A pockets for about 3 months. They were pretty snug when I first got them, but as all 7s do, they stretched out after a couple wears and were quite comfortable. They were my going out jeans, so I didn't wear them too much and didn't have a chance to wash them before *it* happened.

A few nights ago, as I was pulling them on, I heard an awful RIPPPP. I took them off and to my horror, there was a 3 inch tear on the inner thigh part of the jeans, right below the seat. And the rip was on the denim itself; NOT the seam! Then, as I looked closer, I saw that there were patches all over the area that looked frayed, worn and ready to rip at any point. The stiches holding the inner seam together were coming apart as well.

I think the jeans are beyond repair. I can accept that - but what do I do now? I've bought so many pairs of 7s, always getting a size that fits tight intially since they have that reputation of stretching out so much. But after this, I don't know what to think. Did I stretch the jeans past their limit? Should I have gotten a larger size? Was the pair just poorly made? Ahhhh!!!

I'm still mourning the loss of these jeans; they were my favorites. I threw them in my closet and can't bring myself to look at them.

I'm so sorry that happened! Where did you buy the jeans from? Maybe they will exchange them.

I don't own A pockets ( I am actually lusting after the tri-colored ones right now though) but I have two pairs of sevens. None of my jeans have ever ripped, and my friends that own A pockets haven't complained. A pockets do run smaller than the other sevens though, did you size up?

I have heard of this happening on other forums though. Maybe it happened to be a bad egg in the batch? Also, ebay sells tons of fake A pockets, maybe those rip???

take um back where u bought them, raise a fuss & tell them u just want an exchange because obviously those ones are defective.  remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, so ask for a manager, be persistent & get what u deserve!!!

This happened to my regular NY Denim cut sevens. Try to take them back and see if you can exchange. I took mine to my tailor since it is the inner thiegh in a non visible area for my rip he stitched it up and put a backing on it which has helped.
