Yes, I saw the "leopard cardigan" yesterday in the store. It looked cute, but seemed to run short. But then again, it looks a little shorter in the picture too.
I've seen both. The leopard cardi is in my bedroom right now - I'm trying to decide if it's "me" enough to keep. I don't do a ton of leopard but I like the shape and cut of that cardigan. It's very lightweight - almost tissue thin - and it's wool. It is cut short - you'd definitely want it as a layering piece instead of a stand-alone.
The velvet jacket is soft and the velvet seems to be decent quality. The cut isn't my personal style so I didn't try it on and can't tell you how it runs. But it seems more "drapey" than "stiff" - some velvets just don't lay well, IMO but this one seems like it would be very comfortable. HTH

I have that jacket in burgundy (from last year) - it is indeed very soft, not at all stiff like some velvet jackets can be, and much more comfortable than any other jacket I own. IMO it fits true to size, but it's a fitted cut so depending on what you were planning on wearing under it you could go up a size without sacrificing the fit too much.
I just wish I had more occasions to wear it!
The cardi is also nice, I think atlgirl described it well. I think it's cut very proportionately - it's cropped, but appropriately so if that makes sense! Their cardis hold their shape well for me, and I just handwash as needed.
