I'm joining the "ban"wagon

No shopping for me for the next twon months.

So to fill up all my free time I am catagorying my closet.  I am getting as many piuctures of items I currently have as possible.  I'll use these to re-discover what I already own and put together "new" outfits.  How does this sound?

good idea!  i've decided to join the "ban" wagon too.  i want to do more traveling and go home more often (other side of the country) to visit family/friends, but my current shopping behavior doesn't leave me any money to even buy airfare.  i've decided that spending more time with my family and friends and great travel experiences are worth far more than new clothes!

let's hope i can stick to this...

I think thats a great idea! I'm going to try to categorize my closet as well... I know I must have some great stuff hiding in there.

I'm joining the ban, too! The month of March is limited to $50 for absolute necessities. I'm hoping to limit April in the same way but I'll definitely need some warmer weather clothes by then so I'm not sure. But definitely $50 for March!

The categorizing closet idea sounds fab! It requires cleaning my room so maybe I'll work on that first. I have all these skirts lurking in my closet that I'm dying to wear. I'm going to pluck those babies out and revamp them for spring. Maybe it'll be... fun?

I am on the ban/limited shopping bandwagon. My relocation threw me into a higher tax bracket and I owe the government $1100 or so
