This was my first time selling stuff on ebay and the time is about up and the transaction will be taking place. Is there a certain way to handle it - I.E. what is the pay-pal exactly and do you wait for payment before you ship. ETC. I am afraid I am going to be too confused. Any help would be great!!

did you specify a way for people to pay?  if not you might have some trouble this first time. Pay pal is online (www.paypal.com) you need to set up an account there to receive payment and its really the easiest way to send payments.  (they charge a small fee if the person pays with cc). I wouldn't ship anything until you receive payment.
