Jeans to wear while losing weight
Permalink Closed

I've been losing a lot of weight recently (couldn't tell you numbers since I avoid scales) and I discovered this week that of the 6 pairs of jeans I own, only one fits me normally and that one is the one that I like the least. All my others are too big unless I tumble dry them. Even then, the jeans stretch out after one wear and them I'm pulling all of them up again.

So I was wondering what you girls do as far as jeans goes while you're losing weight? Is there a pair of jeans that will look good both when they're tight and when they're loose?

I was considering investing in a pair of Seven Dojos since lots of people wear them slouchy and since I know I can't lose much more weight (if I did, I would be underweight). Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thoughts?

TIA!

i'm not really understanding what you're asking. do you want a pair of jeans that will fit you at your current weight now but you can wear again if you gain weight? if you're at a weight that you want to stay at and are comfortable with, just buy a pair that fits. you can always keep your old ones around.

This is my problem too!  I just usually wear a belt so I don't have to pull them up or go to marshalls/tj maxx and find a cheap pair of decent quality jeans.

I'm kinda like dot though.  Not sure what you are looking for.  If its just temporary jeans how about some from AE?

I would wear the jeans you have now with a belt for the time being, then when you settle into your goal weight buy new ones.

I recently fell in love with the COH Ingrids.  I got them in the stretch and ordered a 28 and 29.  The 28 was tight but still looked really good on and I think I will still be able to lose a little more weight (which I plan on doing) and them still fit perfectly.  So maybe try these in a size a little smaller then your wearing now.  I think with the stretch they'd still work for you.  HTH

I guess what I'm asking for is a pair of jeans I can wear now and can still wear when I lose more weight. Sorry about the confusion!
