I might suggest wearing something other than a dress, or wearing tights with your dress if you do.  A buzz + dress is never something that's worked out well for me, especially if there are also heels involved ashamed.  But maybe you're classier than I am!

I'd definitely wear something form fitting, if you go for a dress. hehe. On a side note, I wore a black satin mini dress on Halloween and it was 45 degrees here... it had spaghetti straps, too, I wasn't cold, but maybe I'm more warm blooded than most.

college girl- are you in Minneapolis?

i would definitely wear a dress... what bar/restaurant are you going to (if you are in Minneapolis) so i know how dressed up you should be!

regardless, you probably don't to be too dressy, could you do a longsleeve jersey dress? with boots if it's cold?

Warm blooded or drinking?  I'd go dress too - can always throw on a leather jacket if the sleeves are short or it's sleeveless - rough it up a little
