Congrats on getting the interview! What position is it for?

Rocky- its to be an auditor at a big 4 firm. I'm crossing my fingers my mock interview will go great and I'll do fine on this real interview.

I have no knowledge of auditing...but I guess I can offer suggestions on general stuff (not like I have had that much experience)

I think it really helps to be prepared on what they will ask you. Practice talking about what you have done in school/internships. I remember my first interview, I had it in my head what I had experience in, but I had a hard time wording it because I was so nervous!

Research the company before you go in, and ask questions during the interview. Employers love that you show interest in their company, and it makes it seem like you want the job more.

Be comfortable with talking about you character traits as well...I don't know if they will ask you what your strengths and weaknesses are ( it is sort of cliche) but just in case have responses prepared. Especially for weaknesses, make them seem like strengths too ( for example: one of my weaknesses is that I can be a little bossy, but it is only because I want the job done well...)

Rocky- one of my troubles is asking the right questions at the end and showing that I know about the company. Have you ever found a good generic question that works well?

I generally ask what type of training they provide to new employees, it generally gets a great response.

I like asking questions about the interviewer themself, their opinions on things, their history, etc. People love to talk about themselves and it leaves them w.a good feeling when you leave.
