In my quest for grecian-style/earthy looking sandals, I came across these. I know a girl in high school that had a pair, and they've never quite left my head.

So, opinions? Keep in mind I am going for an earthy-type of sandal for spring/summer....



I'm possibly going to look for a darker brown too....

I don't like them at all. However, if you love them, go for it. If i had to pick I would pick the darker brown. I think it would impart a better look as well as hide dirt better.

I don't want to be negative, but they look a little harsh, if the ropes were a little thinner I might like them more.

from this pic I don't like them at all, but I have never seen them in person on someone before. I think they are just an item you have to see "on" to appreciate probably...they are very intrigung to me though.

I like them because they remind me of the early 1990's.  I loved that time.


But, Fashionfreak is right, the ropes look a little thick.  These look like they might cause a blister.  I like the style though.

They're not my style, at least not from the picture. But you have the advantage of having seen them in person and you liked them, if you think you can pull them off go for them. Also I think they would look better in brown, it would make them look less "ropey".

Those are pretty cool looking, (until I read the post about potential blisters)  Which site are they on?  There's another thread with lots of grecian sandals suggestions, but they're gold.
