I have a winter white wool a-line skirt. I tried to post a pic of it, but for some reason I could not upload it to shutterfly so that I could cut and paste it. Anyway, I bought these shoes to go with it in the natural. These shoes have blush pink, lt peach, tan and dark salmon colors.
I am not really sure what color/kind of top piece(s) to put with the skirt and shoes.
I had thought of a turtleneck sweater that I could tuck in because the skirt has cute buttons down the front sides that I want to be visible. What do you think of something like this and what color?
P.S. BTW, I found a cute purple and navy plaid cami at NY&Co to go with the blazer I asked about a few days ago.
I think the blush or salmon colors would be really pretty to pick up from the shoes.
However, I personally would be leery of pairing a sweater with a wool skirt because sometimes the fabrics can compete with each other. If both are really "fuzzy" or "soft", it might be too much for one outfit. If that's the case, a nice fitted button-down would work as well.
Do you wear gold jewelry? I'm picturing a salmon colored button-down with the skirt and shoes paired with a long, chunky coral necklace with gold hardware.

Since the shoes are neutral, and you are talking a winter white skirt, you could pretty much pair with any color that goes with winter white. Black, blue, purple, navy, aqua, yellow OOH yellow! How about a stretch button down? That could look really cute tucked in.

Some ideas:
Your suggestion got me to thinking. What about one of these two sweaters and some beads like relrel suggested to sort of tie it all together? or
I could see plum or berry colors with the skirt and neutral shoes, or maybe mid to chocolate brown, or soft medium blue/French blue. I'm not a fan of those greens. I'd prefer a more feminine color, less sporty/outdoorsy.
I think any pop of color would be great...i always like to pair a cardigan and cami or tee with an a line skirt, especially if the skirt is a heavier fabric...kind of balances it out...
i'm not personally a huge fan of turtlenecks....(i always feel strangled)...but i agree that you need a top with a little bit of detail....
what about a different shade of green...maybe something a little brighter?

If you are wanting something with color, why not teal or aqua. I think teal and aqual look so pretty with salmon and pink. That forest green sweater you posted also comes in a lt teal.
