ooo the gold ones are gorgeous.  The price isnt that bad either. Is the heel a wedge or is it just the pic thats making it look like that?

They are a wedge & they are not uncomfortable..... i haven't worn them for any length of time, so I'm not sure how they will be for long periods of time, but i needed gold shoes to finish out an outfit. I bought THE COOLEST gold & ivory kind of brocade jacket at a boutique (no pixs available) & if i didn't get the whole outfit together soon I may not be able to wear it until the fall. It has been in the 70s in Dallas this week!

Now if only temps would drop I can wear it!

I love those in gold, plus Bandolino's are my favorites, I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

I have been looking at those online.  Are they really shiny?

shopaholic (sorry, don't know how to quote)
I find that the braided part is not shiny at all, but I wouldn't say that the wedge is "unshiny" - don't mean to be flaky, but I'm not sure of how shiny you consider shiny!! So the more direct answer is yes, they are a little shiny, but not tacky like others I have avoided. The picture is a pretty good representation. Wedge part is more & less shiny depending on how the light hits them, I would think the brightest they get is in the picture. If that makes any sense at all!
