Is it too soon to wear a white jacket?
Permalink Closed

I bought a 3/4 length sleeve white jacket for the spring & am wondering if it's too early to wear it? I live in Texas & it's in the 70s this week. I was thinking of wearing it with jeans & a colored tee - I was raised in the "can't wear white shoes or purse til after easter" family but when it's warm it's hard to judge? Anyone else in warm temps have the same issue?

I think it is perfectly fine if it is warm and sunny, I am looking for a cute white blazer, and I will wear it as soon as I get it.

To hell with the "cant wear white til after easter" rule.  I dont think people follow it anymore.  There is this new "winter white" thing going on nowadays so I say go for it especially if it is in the 70s where you live!

Thanks ladies, that's what I thought but just wanted a second opinion.

I found this one on the clearance rack at Target for $12.48 - and i like 3/4 length sleeves, so it was pretty much a no brainer for me.

My first attempt at posting an image, so bear with me please!

dang it - i guess i'm impaired in posting photos. I will practice elsewhere!

That's a cute jacket. I think white is perfectly wearable now. Like ShanKel says, people wear winter white in the winter. And if it's warm where you live, why not?
