How should the Kors Brink Boot fit?
Permalink Closed

once again, my stub legs are getting in the way of my fashion vision....hehe

I bought the kors brink boot a couple of weeks ago, after lusting for a year. In the store, I tried on my usual 8.5, as well as a 9, and decided that the 8.5 looked "sleeker" (read: more form fitting/nicer visual line down the leg) so i bought them. Then, i get home, put on my jeans and knee high socks and put the boots on.....and i can barely zip them up. once they are on.....gorgeous....but tight. (without tucking, the 8.5 fits very comfortably) I remember the 9 fitting almost like wellies-with a gap at the top and more room in the ankle- like in this pic

tI haven't tried on the 9 with jeans/socks. but on a bare leg, they looked looser- almost too wide up top.

perhaps the 8.5 be altered by a cobbler in some way? should i get the looser fitting 9? my leg aint gettin thinner, i can tell you that right now......lol

thanks all!

They will stretch, I would keep the 8.5. A cobbler can stretch leather though, so if you want them widder right away I would take them to a cobbler.

This isn't a helpful response at all, but where did you end up getting them? Someone on the Lucky forum has been trying to find them.

I bought them at the Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet -more specifically, the Arundel Mills Mall, MD location- but I know people have had luck at other locations too. Also, if you sign up to their email mailing list, the send great coupons (I bought mine 30% off this way)

Schmanks, I'll pass that on. I hope you and your boots will be very happy together!

Thanks for the responses everyone. I bit the bullet last night and wore the boots out- by the end of the evening they felt pretty good! Enough stretching happened so that i wasn't in any discomfort- although the boots are still annoying to try to take off. I'm glad i stayed with the 8.5. I will still take them to a cobbler though, to see what they can do in addition- but if they can't do anything, i am still happy.

thanks all!
