Honeymoon makeup poll #1.

Good morning ladies.

As I have begun planning what to take for our honeymoon to LA and Hawaii, I realized that we are doing a lot of stuff on this trip, not just lying around. And there are a bunch of makeup items that I would like to bring, but that means taking 7 lipsticks, 5 eyeshadows, yada yada yada.

I was thinking of just buying a couple of palettes instead - one for lips and one for eyeshadows. I think this would help compact things.

So I have searched for some palettes, choosing between size, cost, and the array of choices in each and below is what I have come up with. Which one do you think is the best for the price? First is the lip palette.

Lip Palette - 8 Shades

Bloom Lip Palette ($25) - Palette includes lip glosses in Tangerine, Honey Bunch, Cosmopolitan, Tint, Pout, Sugar, Sweet Pea, and Cutie Pie, plus a dual-ended lip brush and mirror.

Lip Palette - Pro 9

Lorac Lip Palette ($30) - Palette includes four lip colors in soft, sheer, wearable reds, four lip and cheek stains in soft hues that are perfect for any skin tone, a lip brush, and a mirror.

Lip Color Collection Palette

Fresh Lipcolor Palette ($36) - Palette includes lipsticks in Rouge Catalan, Sunday Bazaar, Magnolia Mist, Cranberry Lemonaid, Rendezvous Point, and Byzantine Park, plus a mini lip brush.

I voted for  #3.  I can see all those colors looking good on you.

why not buy a set of mini-lipglosses? that way it's more portable than bringing the whole palette.

I loovvve fresh cosmetics so i'm probably biased.  I think they're really high quality (though the others may be as well.)  I think the first one has too many frosty looking shades.

Thanks ladies. I have chosen the Bloom palette. Unlike the other 2 palettes, it not only has red colors, but brown as well. That will give the palette more versatility for me.
