Hi -

I need a new pair of sunglasses -I'm currently wearing the Coach Lexi ones, which are a good fit for my face shape - round/heart shapped.  I am drawn to the Tom Ford "Jennifer" frames but I don't know if they are worth the price.  I usually put a cap of $250 for sunglasses - these ones are $340...

Are they worth it and is this style still in or will it be "on sale" soon?  Or should I stick to Chanel or Prada ones.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Here's a pic of the Tom Fords I'm looking at:

I really love the Tom Ford sunglasses but I think they are a little trendy.  Either way if I was due for new sunglasses that's where I'd go.

The Tom Ford glasses look really great, but I personally wouldn't spend that much on a trendy style.   The Prada ones are nice too and probably would stick around for much longer.

I'd go for the Fords. They may be a little trendy, but no so much that you couldn't wear them for at least a couple of years. It should really be about your style, though- if you think you could pull them off and love them for a few years, then that should answer your question.
The Pradas are nice, but you could find something very, very similar for less money.

I love the Tom Ford sunglasses, perhaps if they were a  darker brown or black, I could then see them as a good purchase to make

I own 3 pairs of tom ford and I love them. Even my husband has a pair from his mens line. I love that they are so chic without being to overly "logo". Plus check out off fifth (saks outlet) you can find them there frequently for around $199.

Also, google them because alot of sites will have them on sale.

My BF has a pair of Tom Ford's and he loves them. He got his on ebay for about half the price of what they were asking at the department stores though so you may want to check there.

I have the Tom Ford ones and love them. However, the lens did pop out pretty easily and still does to this day. They're not very sturdy if you're the type to toss them in your bag etc. Just a heads up.

I like the Tom Fords a lot better than the Pradas (and I do love me some Prada wink ).  They seem fresher and prettier, and I think you could get a few years mileage out of them.  I bought a pair of  TF's last year and have gotten a lot of compliments too.  I recommend them.
