dumb boot question - wrinkly ankles
Permalink Closed

So, the boots I bought to wear with my skirts arrived. I love the shape and everything, but my ankles are wrinkly. I titled this post "dumb boot question" becaue I'm not sure if this is normal or OK. I never really wore boots until just a year or two ago, and I've never really had this problem. My soft faux-suede boots have wrinkly ankles, but that material is floppy anyway so I expected it. My pair of stiff faux-leather boots stay straight throughout the ankle so I don't have this problem there either. And that's all the boot experience I have.

But these ones I just got wrinkle. And this is with my thick boot socks, so there's not much I could do underneath to stiffen it up unless I wanted to wear two or three pairs of socks! And I cannot, for the life of me, decide if this looks regular/OK or if I need to send them back. Help!

and, FWIW, here's how they look on piperlime (different color, same style):

It doesn't look bad at all. All of my boots do that because my ankles are so skinny smile.gif

all my boots are like that. kind of annoying but not much a skinny-legged girl can do! :)

My boots do this too!  I've always wondered if I was the only person that had this problem.

I've always wondered the same thing as my boots usually do this too. But as everyone else says- seems totally normal and those boots look good!

I like them better on you than in the Piperlime picture, actually.

The same thing happens to me too - as long as its not bothersome, I wouldn't worry, they look great!
